Description: A long memo by the Citizens Non-Partisan Registration Campaign, which was established in 1948 by black leaders of the Democratic and Republican parties to increase minority registration. This document reviews their efforts to register black voters since 1948 (a two page section provides historical information on black and white enrollments for this period) and outlines plans for publicity and door-to-door canvassing for the 1962 election. It was submitted by Jesse H. Turner, A. W. Willis, Jr., Russell B. Sugarmon, B. L. Hooks, S. A. Wilbun.
