Abstract: | This is an image from an artist's rendition of an act of worship at the Minoan temple of Anemospilia on Mt. Iuktas. One person pours out a red liquid from a cup into a depression in a stone in front of a large human-like statue wrapped in a patterned garment wound about the body, hiding the arms. Six vases, including Light on Dark ware and pithoi with raised decoration, are also present. |
