This play by Neil LaBute is a non-traditional boy-meets-girl story. Tom meets and falls in love with Helen, a smart, funny, and very plus-sized woman. As Tom’s relationship faces increasing scrutiny from his friends and co-workers, he has to question his own perception of beauty and what it means to his own happiness. Labute’s Fat Pig explores and eviscerates our traditional ideas of beauty.
