Starting in 1968, Ginger began its publication with a desire to do more with the format of a literary publication, choosing its name because of the desired connection to the spicy root vegetable. In addition to more philosophical and politically-charged works, Ginger also takes much more liberty with its visual layout and design, making it a uniquely beautiful part of the college’s student publications.
