Permanent URI for this collection

This 1986 musical from StephenSondheim and James Lapine revisits classic characters of the Brothers Grimm, weaving their respective fates together in a fast-moving tapestry. We join Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (of beanstalk fame), Cinderella, Rapunzel, and their new friends the Baker and his Wife as they find out what happens the day after all your dreams come true. Is there a price to pay for living Happy Ever After? This play was first presented in Season twenty at the McCoy.
