Abstract
Description
This is an interview with Onzie Horne. He discusses his family and the extensive musical background of his father, Onzie Horne, Sr, who wrote arrangements for Stax and Sun studios. He also describes attending Carleton College, and then his subsequent decision to return to Memphis in order to work as an activist. While in Memphis he participated in sit-ins, marches, and was close friends with members of the Invaders.
