Abstract
This mural was painted and designed by the students at the Memphis College of Art. It is painted on a gasoline station’s wall at Poplar and Rembert, across from Overton Park’s main entrance. This mural reads “Midtown is our Memphis” in bold, vibrant letters on an abstracted blue background. The mural’s text alludes to the pride of Midtown Memphis.
