Abstract
This image shows a hypocaust inside of Terrace House 2.1. A hypocaust is a system used to heat houses with hot air in sub-floors supported by short pillars, called pillae stacks, which are visibile in this image. It was photographed at the Terrace Houses of Ephesus in Selcuk, Turkey, in 2011.
