Abstract
This is a portrait of William Earl Troutt wearing red and blue regalia with a blue hood and a bowtie. Trott has his right arm leaned over the banister of the library and his left hand hanging by his side. There are pile of books on the left-side of the piece. The portrait is surrounded by a decorative gold frame and a plaque in the bottom’s center that reads “WILLIAM EARL TROUTT / 1949 - / 19th President of Rhodes College / 1999-“ There is an artist’s signature “TOM DONAHUE ‘07” in the upper left-hand corner of the portrait
