This is an interview with Reverend James Lawson, Jr., Pastor of Centenary United Methodist Church and chairman of the strategy committee of C.O.M.E. (Community on the Move for Equality), the community organization supporting the strikers. He was also Southern Christian Leadership Conference (S.C.L.C.) director of nonviolent education.
