Abstract
This is an aerial black-and-white photo of the Lefkandi site. The darkness at the top of the photo is the South Euboean Gulf, which is next to the present-day Lefkandi Archaeological Zone. The image shows a couple of roads winding through several fields. The landscape is dotted with trees. The image has been modified, with archaeological features such as the Heroon made visible.
Description
This image was digitized and added to Dlynx by the Visual Resources Center during summer, 2023. The metadata was created by students enrolled in Dr. Miriam Clinton's Greek Art classes. The student cataloger's name can be found in the dc.contributor.advisor field.
