Description
This is an interview with Frances and Benjamin Hooks.Frances Hooks is a retired school teacher and Benjamin Hooks was a minister and attorney. They discuss growing up during the Great Depression, with a specific focus on education. Benjamin Hooks also describes his role in the Civil rights movement as a joint venture with his wife and describes the circumstances leading to the Sanitation Strike.
