Abstract
This is a monotype of an outdoor landscape with buildings in snow. There are tree branches in the foreground. This painting is done on brown paper. Black painted wooden frame with glass. On the bottom left, it has written "Vue Surfesloils / Moscow," the middle has "monotypie," and the bottom right has "Elisaveta Krugliakov 1913" written in graphite. There is a lot of dirt and mold behind the glass and marks and dirt on the surface. The back of the frame is damaged with stickers. One indicates the framer in top middle, below that sticker reads "KRUGLIAKOVA, Elisaveta. Born in / 1965. / 75. Winter View from the Window. / Monotype / 76. before the Ball. Monotype / 77. In Moscow. engraving." Left center reads "Memphis / Jan. 1925" in black ink, and has newspaper clipping "Exhibition of Representative / Russian Art." Bottom center has remains of an envelope taped to the frame. Frame has rips on all sides and water damage on right.
