Abstract
This poem written in rhyme royal and attributed to William Shakespeare was first printed in "Sonnets" in 1609. It shows a young couple outdoors. A cupid is seen in the upper right corner preparing to shoot an arrow. Text on the print: "Look here what tributes wounded fancies sent me. Of paled pearls, and rubies red as blood."
