Abstract
This is a wooden sculpture of two bean-like shapes on a black wooden base. The bean-like structures are separated and slightly tilted. Each structure has the same width and height. The wood in the wood no the left structure has a layer slightly separating from the rest of the structure. There are a few nicks and scratches in the base. Artist biography: Judith Morrow was an American painter born in Monroe, Louisiana. She earned her B.A. in Fine Arts from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1971 and then moved to New Orleans for graduate study at Tulane's Newcomb College. She later earned a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of New Orleans in 1979. She engaged in community activism for preservation and neighborhood issues in New Orleans, then Boulder, Colorado, and finally Austin, Texas. She died on February 3, 2015, in Austin, Texas.
