Abstract
This is a digital photograph of Charlotte Sechrist's painting. It was submitted as the first critiqued assignment, "Photo-volution," on February 8, 2017 in Erin Harmon's Intermediate/Advanced Painting class. The artist's statement reads: "Looking out through a Saab dashboard with beads hanging, each panel depicts a scene from a road trip. The dashboard glows with a yellow green hue on the bottom three panels, whereas the one at the top is a melancholy sage. All together, the four reminisce about a year of road trips, each one depicting a different season, emotion, and location."
