Abstract
The Visible Music College was founded in 2000 by Dr. Ken Steorts. It is located at 200 Madison Avenue in the Downtown area of Memphis. The building has elements from both Brutalist and Modern architectural styles. The front half of the roof is entirely made out of fixed, leaded glass windows. The rest of the building is made of concrete and steel. The building is the shape of a right triangular prism, commonly seen in the form of a wedge. The glass portion of the roof is above a patio space. It acts as one giant skylight.
Description
This building was photographed and uploaded to DLynx during the summer of 2016 by the Visual Resources Center.
