Abstract
An infrared spectrometer was employed to obtain reflection spectra of ice, snow and solid carbon dioxide (dry ice) in the infrared region of the spectrum from .95 to 5.35 microns. After analysis these data were displayed graphically, the respective reflectivities being represented as functions of wavelength. These results were compared to those of other observers, and reasons for differences were discussed. Additional spectra of teflon were studied, and comparison applications of research in this field were presented.
