Abstract
The Memphis Area Transit Authority was built in 1981 and designed by architects Walk Jones and Francis Mah and the principal designer Michael Finefield. It is located at 1370 Levee Road in the Northeast Memphis area. It is used as a bus storage and maintenance facility. The building has pylons which support the roof. The most notable feature of the building is the large portholes on the eastern side. They are like bull?s-eye windows, but protrude from the building. It is made of concrete and modern in style.
