Abstract
This is a color print (possibly woodcut) depicting an older Korean man who sits cross legged on the floor on a checkered brown and white mat. He wears a blue robe with a crane in the center. He is also wearing a black hat. Behind him is a perhaps a paneled window which shows a vague scene of a landscape. In the bottom left corner it has the title written "THE SCHOLAR KOREA." In the bottom right corner are the initials circled "E.K." In cursive underneath is "Elizabeth Keith 1921." On the back in the top right corner is a rectangular black and gold sticker that reads "The Jerry Hatch Gallery / 3604 Park Ave. / MEMPHIS TN."
