Abstract
This is a sculpture of a sectioned tree where the tree splits into two separate sections. The rings of the tree are glazed with resin and there are sections of the rings near a crack in the bark cut out for three ribbons. These pieces of darker wood appear to stitch the sides together on the left portion of the sculpture. There are two extra wood ribbons added on a smaller, third section and one added to the larger right section. There are six sections of wood ribbons total.The bottom does not have resin.
