Abstract
Part of an integrated music theory sequence, this course is designed to provide a continuing study of the harmonic, contrapuntal, and formal practices of music from the 17th century to the present. This course consists of several areas: the lecture, containing written theory and analysis, and the laboratory containing aural musicianship (dictation, solfege singing and keyboard.)
