Abstract
The Boling Center for Developmental Disabilities, formerly known as the University of Tennessee Child Development Center, was desgined by Roy P. Harrover and Associates in 1969.  The Brutalist desgined building is located at 711 Jefferson Avenue in the Victorian Village and Midtown Medical Center. Its rough and blocky appearance not only accentuate the Brutalist style but also reflect the function of Brutalism in its carpentalised spaces. The university is made of mostly concrete and brick.
