Abstract
Description
A Resolution adopted by the Tennessee Voters' Council addressed to the Hon. Frank G. Clement, Governor of the State of Tennessee. The resolution condemns the firing of Fred Davis and Rufus Jones, asks the Governor to investigate their case and reinstate them, encourages him to support the appointment of minorities to state offices, and urges that political loyalties not be a basis for holding administrative positions in Tennessee.
