Abstract
A black coin from 383 to 408 CE with some sort of dirt or sand-like residue on it. The obverse has a diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right, holding spear and shield. On the reverse there is Arcadius standing facing, head left, holding standard and leaning on shield.
Description
This coin was acquired by the College on March 23, 2015 as part of a donation by Auben Gray Burkhart, a longtime friend of the College. The coin was digitized and added to DLynx by the Visual Resources Center during summer 2016.
