Abstract
Description
In this interview, native Memphian and lawyer Lewis R. Donelson III describes the challenges of forming a stronger Republican Party in Memphis during and after the Crump era. He also shares how he believes the support of African Americans influenced the shifting political sphere of Memphis in the late 1960s and 1970s.
