Abstract
This is a painting of two figures, one is sitting on a tree branch and the other is looking up. Both figures are nude. The background behind the tree and figures is bright orange and yellow in a gradation going from bottom to top. There is a signature in the bottom right of the painting that reads “Colleen BROWNING”. There is a plaque to the right of the piece that reads “Two & Tree / By Colleen Browning / Gift of the estate of Geoffrey Wagner / (Colleen Browning’s Widower) / made possible through the efforts of / Jacqueline Hamra Mesa, ’93 of Bethesda, Maryland / and the Harmon-Meek Gallery, Naples, Florida”. The painting is surrounded by an aged wooden frame and no glass.
