Description
Interview with Dorothy Bilsky, a former teacher who talks about the school system during the time of desegregation. She discusses the court ordered transition for teachers during desegregation and her experience teaching at a majority black school. She also mentions the cultural competency issues between many of the white teachers that were transferred to majority black schools. Bilsky taught at Cypress Junior High and this interview was conducted in 1979. �
