Abstract
Description
This is an interview with Ms. Essie Steadman, who worked as bus driver for the segregated Hoxie School District. She drove the African-American students from Walnut Ridge-Hoxie to the African-American school in Jonesboro before the Hoxie School Board made the decision to integrate.
