Abstract
This is a three-part painting of a diver jumping into the water. The top third is of two legs in sandals with the legs of the diver to the hip with the splash, the middle third is of the abdomen and head with bubbles in the water, and the bottom third is of the hands leading the body into deeper water. The diver is vertical. The water is colored with blue and has white web-like detail. The panels get smaller from the top to the bottom. It is painted with acrylic on canvas. Each third is framed with a black wooden frame and no glass. There is about an inch spacing between each canvas frame. Erin Corbett graduated from Rhodes College in 2001.
