Abstract
The Old Daisy Theater was built in 1914 by Sam Zerilla. It is located at 329 Beale Street, south of downtown Memphis. The Eclectic building seems to draw from Byzantine, Renaissance, and California Mission architectural styles. It features a facade centered around an apse-like opening with piers on each side. The facade and dome display a dark red trim and gold painted ornament detail. The dome also has narrow gold ribs which meet at the top of the half dome, decorated by a heavy drooping garland.
