Abstract
Using the College's forthcoming production of As You Like It as our destination, in this seminar we‟ll address questions concerning the nature of the Shakespearean text, the relationships between the text and what we know of original performances, and the kinds of interpretations made when directors and actors take Shakespeare‟s words on the page and make them into a live performance in the theatre.
