Description
This is an interview with Billy Holmes. Holmes describes his experiences growing up in Lexington before going to college and later joining the National Guard. Holmes was among the National Guardsmen sent to Memphis after the first assasination attempt on Dr. King and the subsequent assasination. Holmes describes the atmosphere and events in Memphis resulting from the assasination.
