Abstract
This image shows a carved stone slab at the Prytaneion of Ephesus. The relief on the stone depicts a tripod vessel. The Prytaneion is located behind the basilica and it is where the sacred flame symbolizing the heart of the city was kept alight. It was photographed in Selcuk, Turkey, in 2011.
