Description
Interview with Margaret Dichtel, the first president of the VECA organization. Dichtel gives a history of the Little Flower Church, a prominent and long-standing church in the Vollintine-Evergreen Community. She also discusses the impact the Jewish community had on the neighborhood. Ditchel mentions the changing demographics due to white flight and the outcomes it has had on the neighborhood schools. This interview was conducted in 1979.
