Abstract
This image shows a wide shot of hilly farmlands with ruins in the center, surrounded by trees or bushes. These are the ruins of Knossos, an ancient Minoan palace on Crete. The land around the ruins appears to be currently inhabited, with evidence of a small town behind the ruins and farmland in the foreground.
Description
This image was digitized and added to Dlynx by the Visual Resources Center during summer, 2023. The metadata was created by students enrolled in Dr. Miriam Clinton's Greek Art classes. The student cataloger's name can be found in the dc.contributor.advisor field.
