Abstract
Description
This is an interview with Herman Seymour, Jr., who was born in Somerville, TN and moved to Memphis at the age of 10. He tells of his time in the service during the 1960s, and the race relations in the military as well as at home. Mr. Seymour reflects on black identity and the changes he has seen among the black community in Memphis, past and present.
