Abstract
This is a portrait of Sidney W. Farnsworth wearing a tan suit and black tie. His portrait ends at the chest fading into the background. There is writing at the top left of the piece in tan that reads “19 F 27”. The painting is framed by an aged metallic frame with a plaque in the bottom center that reads SIDNEY W. FARNSWORTH / 1895-1976 / Southwestern At Memphis / Chairman, Board of Trustees / 1941-1960”.
