Abstract
General Description: This is a brown piece of fabric with floral designs. It has a small tag on it that reads "Italian Damask 17th century, used in a church (note candle wax spots)" Old inventory calls its brocade.
Condition Description: There are many stains that cover the fabric. The old inventory notes some of these as wax stains. There are also several places on the fabric where it is discolored.
