Abstract
This course will introduce the student(s) to Lie groups via matrix groups. We will work through the text Matrix Groups for Undergraduates by Kristopher Tapp, aiming to complete the text by the end of the semester. Time permitting, we will continue to study more advanced topics from other texts.
