General Description: repeats the theme originally found on Herard medal of uniting diverse arts - on side numbered 143 - 500
Obverse Description: The obverse bears a frontal portrait of Michelangelo with the inscription "MIGUEL ANGELO" (Michelangelo) on the right and "1475-1975" on the left in the surround.
Reverse Description: The reverse features a decorative border inspired by the Renassaince, along with two seprate inscriptions "MIGUEL ANGELO / BUINARROTI" (Michelangelo Buonarroti) and "ESCULTOR - PINTOR - POETA / E ARQUITECTO - ITALIANO / 1475 - 1564" (Sculptor - Painter - Poet - and Architect - Italian 1475-1564) and below are tools of arts and the inscribed artist signature "BERBAL/PORTO."
