Abstract
An introduction to contemporary American and Canadian fiction centered on the topic of trauma. Possible authors include: Alice Munro, Margaret Atwood, Russell Banks, Joyce Carol Oates, William Gass, among others. This course is open only to first-year and sophomore students. It is writing intense.
