Abstract
The Peyton Nalle Rhodes Tower was built in 1968 and is named in honor of former Rhodes President and Professor in 1981. The building features a large, spherical observatory for astronomy studies. There are large bay windows and several pointed arches. There is a bas relief of the Rhodes seal. It is one of the few buildings on campus that does not have dormer windows.
