Abstract
Fragments of six Late Minoan IA vases were photographed in this image. Each vase depicts a different pattern of paint, ranging in color from dark (black) to reds and tans. Most of the paint shows plant imagery, except for a geometric pattern in the lower row, center. The lower row has more stylized paint, less naturalistic. The paint strokes are bold.
Description
This image was digitized and added to Dlynx by the Visual Resources Center during summer, 2023. The metadata was created by students enrolled in Dr. Miriam Clinton's Greek Art classes. The student cataloger's name can be found in the dc.contributor.advisor field.
