Abstract
This volume of the Southwestern Journal is one of the last iteration of a lineage of student work dating back to the mid-1880s, when the college was still in Clarksville. Unlike any of its ancestors that it shares a name with, these Journals focus on student research, featuring a few research papers, covering all subjects, instead of publishing creative and literary works, a job carried out by Ginger, which was published at the same time.
