A Catalogue of Medals Commemorating Michelangelo
This catalogue encompasses medals produced from the 16th century to the present that commemorate the artistic achievement of Michelangelo Buonarroti (1475-1564). Medals pictured are in the collection of A. Victor Coonin.The purpose of this project is to recognize and investigate the legacy of Michelangelo as seen through the unique medium of the medallic arts. Modeling the Minoans in Maya: Digital Reconstruction of Ancient Structures was a student research project led by Kathryn Clark '20 and Baobao Wang '18 and supervised by Dr. Miriam Clinton and Professor Darren Floyd. This collection includes the materials they presented at the Rhodes College Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Symposium (URCAS) in 2017. -

Set Designs for "Flyway"
This collection includes images documenting Professor Erin Harmon's set design for Ballet Memphis's 2014 Production of their original dance series titled "The River Project." Harmon's set was designed for a piece titled "Flyway" that was choreographed by Steven McMahon. This collection includes scans of preliminary sketches and collages, as well as photographs of the set models.

Dr. Leyland Hugh Sackett (1928-2020) Image Collection
This collection contains 35mm slides of photographs captured by Hugh Sackett as he traveled throughout Greece from the 1950s to the 1980s. He documented his findings from various archaeological sites, along with candid cultural aspects of the country’s people and places. -
Rhodes College Collection of Artwork and Artifacts
The core of this collection, The Jessie L. Clough Art Memorial for Teaching, was a gift in 1950 from Floy K. Hanson in memory of her teacher and mentor Jessie L. Clough. -
Shelby Foote Diaries
Beginning in 1941 and continuing through 2001, Foote’s diaries offer valuable details about the writer’s daily life, habits, and writing process. After Foote completed his final novel, he wrote nearly every day in his diaries, and from 1978 through 1999, Foote diligently recorded his thoughts in his signature script. In 2010, Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, acquired Shelby Foote’s personal papers and library. -
