Abstract: Muddy view from North Parkway of the sign announcing the construction site for the Memphis campus with Palmer Hall construction in the background. The east and west wings of Palmer were built simultaneously and joined in the center by the cloister. The name of the college is given as Southwestern, The College of the Mississippi Valley.
Description: Received from the Office of Communications in 2010. Appeared in the Fall, 2000 Rhodes magazine.
