Abstract: This image shows the monumental gateway, or tetrapylon, to the Temple of Aphrodite. This is a detail of the pediment. It was built around 200 CE. It was photographed in Aphrodisias near Geyre, Turkey, in 2011.
Description: Photograph by Dr. Francesca Tronchin, June, 2011. This image was migrated out of MDID and into DLynx during the summer of 2014.
