dc.description.abstractThe obverse shows Theodosius' bust facing right wearing a crown with the inscription D N THEODOSIUS P F AVG. The reverse shows victory advancing left, carrying a trophy and dragging captive with the inscription SALVS REIPVBLICAE. This coin dates from 379 to 395 CE.en_US
