|Description:||Interview with Berta B Radford, a longtime member of the Vollintine Evergreen community. Radford talks about her move to the Memphis, and her street before home development picked up. She mentions the racial shifts in the neighborhoods around her, although she feels her street has been very stable with little white flight or changes. Radford also discusses a few of the neighborhood businesses and development of the subdivisions. This interview was conducted in 1979.|
